With spring/summer right around the corner, I’m definitely gravitating towards wearing warmer makeup tones and colour palettes…
To create this look, I used the Huda Beauty ‘Textured Shadows Palette – Rose Gold Edition’ and I used the colours Sandalwood, Henna, Trust Fund, and Moon Dust. On the crease I used Sandalwood as a transition colour then layered Henna on top to create more depth, and I applied Trust Fund pigment to add warmth and a nice shimmery effect. On the inner corners of my eyes I used the shade Moon Dust to add some brightness and a pop of highlight, and I think these tones compliment each other nicely and work really well together.
I had this eye look in mind before beginning my makeup, but was completely stuck on what to do for the lips. Initially I applied Huda Beauty’s Lip Contour in Trendsetter (a deep brown nude) and then applied the matching Liquid Matte lipstick. Typically I prefer glossy lips over matte, so I knew that for me this look wasn’t finished yet – but I had no idea what to add… Then I remembered I’d purchased some of Jouer Cosmetics Long-Wear Lip Toppers, and I knew Tan Lines (a metallic shimmering bronze shade) would complete this look – so there you have it!
