Dress: Zara | Trainers: Nike | Sunglasses: Vintage | Socks: ASOS | Watch: Larsson & Jennings
The hustle and bustle of New York City is something I thrive off of, and it’ll never get old to me. I wanted to create street style images that showed the true heart of the city and reflected it in its entirety… From roadworks and workmen, to neon orange traffic cones and iconic signs, to the sky-high buildings that seem to go on for miles; this is the real New York. I loved how the images turned out, and think they speak for the authenticity of the Big Apple – what do you think?
I’m not one to wear dresses, but I spotted this Zara dress in a newspaper and I ordered it online almost immediately. I love the colours and the asymmetric hemline, and the way the velvet blue dots hit the light means it looks good from pretty much any and all angles. I styled it here with my trusty Air Max trainers for a more daytime appropriate look, but this dress could equally work with a pair of strappy YSL inspired heels for nighttime.
