Okay okay, I know you’ve probably heard it before (and you don’t need to hear it again) but one of the most important lifestyle changes we can make to become healthier is changing the food we consume. I’m not vegan (I’m not even vegetarian for that matter) but even I can’t deny I’ve been re-thinking my attitude towards diet and food a lot lately. The Netflix documentary The Game Changers could have had a lot to do with this, and has inspired people all over the world to re-think what they eat. So I decided to try what can only be described as the trendiest vegan food restaurant in London, by Chloe. Read on to see what I made of it…

By Chloe was founded by NYC based Chloe Coscarelli, a vegan chef and cookbook extraordinaire, and Samantha Wasser, Creative Director at ESquared Hospitality. The aim of the restaurant is to make everyday 100% vegan food thats more accessible to the masses, and more delicious. It doesn’t hurt that its also incredibly Instagram friendly. This popular American chain landed in Covent Garden not too long ago, and I’m glad I stopped by. Whilst at By Chloe I had the Pesto Meatball sandwich and the mouth-watering Mac N’ Cheese with a Daily Smoothie, and it did not disappoint. I didn’t know it was possible to have vegan food so good that any meat-eater would enjoy it!

I don’t have a bad word to say about my experience at By Chloe. The food was unique and uncompromised in flavour, and catered to the comfort food we all know and love – but in a healthier way (by being vegan). I loved the causal dining atmosphere, the food that came in chic fast food style packaging, and even the suspended chairs from the ceiling where you could sit and chill. Iconic, no? The London edition of By Chloe even has vegan Fish N’ Chips on offer, now that’s one way to butter up us Brits. If you’re ever in Covent Garden, I highly suggest you stop by and give it a try – you won’t regret it.
