Has anyone else struggled to survive the unbearable heat in London recently, and wondered what to wear whilst doing it? I have to admit, its been a daily battle for me trying to figure out how to look chic and remain sweat free at the same time (gross I know). Its easy enough to know what to wear on your top half, but your bottom half? Thats a whole different story.
Travelling in and out of central London, and especially on public transport, I still need to look ‘respectable’ but don’t want to look corporate in the slightest. I find you can wear a simple t-shirt/tank on your top half, layer with gold necklaces which is very on-trend at the minute, then pair with denim on your bottom half and you are good to go.
I love these transformative Topshop jeans and saw them in an editorial on the Topshop app and knew I had to have them, even though I ended up with a size too big I got them anyway (I’ll end up getting them tailored at some point). I love the split front which can make it look like a denim maxi skirt from certain angles, and I think the lace-tie really adds something special.
What do you wear to battle the heat and look stylist at the same time?
