I don’t think there will ever be a day where I say no to wearing animal print, today being no exception. Monki are known for their street style chic designs mixed with a fun aesthetic, their use of bold and brash colours are not for the faint-hearted.

A fully lined plissé midi skirt in a fun print, Monki outdid themselves with this fun and flirty number. Stepping outside of my comfort zone, the colours aren’t something I’d usually go for but I’m so glad I did. I’ve said it before, but one of my new years resolutions for 2019 was to wear more colour and prints and I think I’ve definitely done that with this look, don’t you? Also if you’re over the whole ironing thing, then pleats are for you.

I never really bought into the whole ‘Dad’ trainer thing, but as I had these Adidas Yung 1’s in another colour way I couldn’t resist getting the all-white pair aswell. A clean all-white pair of trainers really do go with anything, I wore mine with some fun bright yellow socks which also happened to work really well with my outfit… Coincidence? I think not.

T-shirt: Skollet (Copenhagen) | Skirt: Monki | Trainers: Adidas Yung 1 | Socks: Prag (Copenhagen) | Rings: Time’s Up Vintage (Copenhagen) | Necklaces: Mango

When I was away in Copenhagen last month I walked past a store called Skollet which sold these really soft 100% organic cotton t-shirts, and contrary to popular belief I didn’t buy them in black (mainly because they didn’t sell them in black). I bought this pale lemon colour, and a nice peach – very different to what I’d normally go for, but stepping outside of your comfort zone isn’t always a bad thing!
