I’ve suffered from acne-prone skin for years. And no matter what I do, nothing seems to help fix it. Or at least calm it down. I’ve tried it all, recommendations from big beauty brands and the worlds top magazines, I’ve bought everything every blogger or YouTuber out there raves about… And zilch. Until I discovered my secret weapon, my new skin saviour!

Sunday Riley’s ‘U.F.O.’ Ultra-Clarifying Facial Oil comes at a pretty price. Be warned, your pockets better be lined if your thinking of buying this bad boy.

Specifically targeted to help clear blemish-prone skin, this fast-acting treatment oil clears the build up that can be caused by environmental factors, hormones, and genetics. It’s a dry oil with 1.5% salicylic acid that seeps into the skin pretty quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, whats even better is that it also helps to even out your complexion and reduce any discolouration you may have left over from previous acne.

Now Sunday Riley claims this dry-oil does a lot of things, and after inhaling deeply when I hit ‘add to basket’ the time had finally come for me to judge for myself. I haven’t been using it for a full month yet, but I couldn’t wait any longer to do a review. Typically, I’ll apply a few drops before my night-time moisturiser and pat into my face/neck/chest as needed. I’ve seen a visible reduction in the overall amount of acne I have (of course this is helped when my diet is better), and marks/scars I have on my face have slowly begun to fade. Heres to hoping one day they’ll be gone completely!

Heres a list of some of the main ingredients, and what they claim to do:
Tea Tree Oil – helps to purify the complexion
Black Cumin Seed Oil – helps to purify the complexion
Salicylic Acid – an oil-soluble beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that helps to exfoliate and remove oil buildup/debris from inside your pores
Hexylresorcinol – brightens the appearance of discolouration
Milk Thistle Seed Oil – soothes and hydrates the skin
Chamomile – soothes stressed skin

I don’t know anyone out there who doesn’t want smoother, spot-free skin. For the price point, I’d definitely do your research and read around before you splash out on this. Maybe try some more affordable products first, but when your ready to splurge hit up Cult Beauty and let me know what you think of this product!
