I know I know, another one of those Topshop satin skirts you say? When something is this good, why mess with it? I, along with many other fashion enthusiasts, have become a die-hard fan of the satin slip skirt. When something is this easy to wear, it’s hard not to become addicted. And luckily for us, the high-street seems to be replicating the satin slip skirt in new colours and prints nearly every week! Whats not to love…

What I love about introducing a piece this versatile into your wardrobe is that you can wear it with almost any top/jumper and shoe combination, and its just works. Whether you want to wear with a chunky turtleneck and some trainers, or a plain t-shirt and some ankle boots you have a winning look on your hands.

T-shirt: Skollet (Copenhagen) | Skirt: Topshop | Ankle boots: Kurt Geiger | Rings: Time’s Up Vintage (Copenhagen) | Necklaces: Mango | Sunglasses: Depop

I’m definitely embracing more print this year, and the tones of this skirt spoke to me. For a contrast, I decided to pair with some faux snakeskin ankle boots which shouldn’t work but totally did. This trending style of skirt works well paired-back, or more full-on for a more daring look.
