Most skincare enthusiasts would argue its difficult to settle on a travel-friendly skincare routine, and deciding on what to take or what not to take. No matter the size of your suitcase or carry-on, toiletries can be heavy and take up precious space. An efficient travel skincare routine can require downsizing, so before you pack up the entire contents of your bathroom cabinet be sure to lighten the load.
When considering your perfect travel skincare routine, you need to take into account the climate your travelling too and how long you’ll be away. The good news is you don’t need to invest in a lot of products or search high and low for what you need, instead pare down your normal routine to the most important products you use daily.
Personally I always take a cleanser, toner, moisturiser, eye cream, and SPF with me when travelling. These items to me are non-negotiable as I’d need to use these things daily wherever I am in the world, so I suggest adapting to your climate instead of trying to reinvent your routine. Curate an edited selection of products that will restore and recharge your skin, as we all know travelling can wreak havoc and cause breakouts and dryness amongst other things. You could always invest in products that are multitasking and have more than one use; which will inevitably save you space, time, and money!
